Out of Athens’ first ever homeopathic pharmacy, Lena and George Korres set up a homeopathic-remedy production lab. They started ‘Korres Natural Products’ which also includes a line of natural fragrances.
‘Iris, Lily of the Valley, Cotton’ was launched in 2010. It’s the perfect fragrance when you can’t really wear a fragrance or don’t want to smell of perfume. It starts with a lovely soft iris, luckily (for me) some not too strong lily of the valley and then continues with the cotton note.
This is a ‘your-favourite-t-shirt-hanging-outside-in-the-sun’ cotton.fragrance. It is neither over the top nor artificial – just really nice. It stays close to the skin, but when sprayed on my hand, I did get a whiff for several hours.
I really have to mention the packing here. It’s a very clever wrap out of one piece of recyclable cardboard stating all the ingredients as well the company’s mission and facts about the notes included in the fragrance.
The bottles are very minimalistic, very fitting for the content and the whole company philosophy.
Korres fragrances are available at attractive prices, definitely recommended to try.
